NEM-EMERGE Istanbul Meeting Photo Gallery
DAY 1
From 9 to 11 February 2026, the NEM-EMERGE consortium held its 2nd Annual Meeting in Istanbul, hosted by Ondokuz Mayıs University. On the first day, the main achievements were presented, emphasising the scientific depth and collaborative effort behind the results. Throughout the discussions, partners consistently emphasised the importance of delivering results that are directly relevant to end users, particularly breeding companies and potato and tomato farmers.
DAY 2
A multi-actor stakeholder workshop featured the second day of the NEM-EMERGE Meeting. More than 50 Turkish stakeholders from various sectors of the tomato supply chain met the project partners working with tomatoes and discussed, from a bottom-up approach, different strategies to fight against root-knot nematodes. Through discussion and co-creation, this session served as a tool to jointly figure out the future of tomato agriculture.
DAY 3
The third day of the Annual Meeting of NEM-EMERGE concluded with the same cooperative atmosphere that had characterised the entire event. The three meeting days were sprinkled with in-depth presentations of specific aspects and activities carried out in the different work packages, which led to intense discussions among the topic experts about the results presented.
